P.L.A.Y. Performers
P.L.A.Y. Performers is a performance based educational program that will introduce your young performer to the wonderful world of musical theater. We sing, we dance, we tell stories, and have a ton of fun doing it! Building confidence, practicing teamwork, improving literacy and embracing empathy are key elements to our curriculum. We welcome students of all abilities and no experience is required. We believe theatre skills are life skills and theatre kids truly do run the world, so come join us and find out what the fun is all about!

FAQ
What if I have never taken a musical theater class before?
We applaud you for being brave and trying something new! The whole point of our classes is to have FUN and no experience is necessary. If you love to sing and dance in your bedroom, tell the best stories to your friends, or are constantly using your imagination to pretend to be new characters… this class is for you! We will meet you where you are at and promise you will learn something new while making great friends.
I’m scared to audition. Are there auditions?
Yes, there are auditions, but everyone who signs up for the class will get a part. Also, our auditions feel more like a game than an “audition” (you will find out why!), and it’s super fun. We will never ask you to do anything you aren’t comfortable with and there is a place for everyone in our show. You don’t have to memorize anything or prepare for auditions, which happen on the first day of class. The only thing you need is a willingness to be brave and try something new!
What should I bring to class?
A refillable water bottle, a pencil, a highlighter, wear close toed shoes, comfortable clothes you can move in and curiosity. Oh, and a healthy nut-free snack is always a good idea too!
How do I buy tickets to the performances?
Tickets for our PLAY Performers shows will go on sale one month before the first performance and they will be available online. Don’t worry, we will let you know when they go on sale and share the link. Each performer gets one complimentary ticket to the first show. If you have more than one student enrolled, EACH student gets one comp ticket.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
We are sorry to see you go, but understand that life happens. If you cancel prior to 2 weeks before your class or camp starts we are happy to process a refund for you minus a $35 administrative fee. Cancellations after two weeks prior to your class date will not be able to be processed unless there is a waitlist and your spot is able to be filled.
